Sadie Mae

I mentioned Sadie in my last post...she deserves a picture! She is such a happy girl!

Some of God's wonders!

I just love the springtime. It is my absolute most favorite time of the year! I love when everything starts greening up and the wildflowers bloom. I love the temperature and enjoy the spring rain showers! Springtime is such a reminder of how amazing God is! Here are a few pictures that I took around the house the other night.
I just hope that we continue to get the rain we have been so that the corn can grow! We need a good year!! It is so neat that this just grows from a seed...you plant it and it grows. Awesome!

These are some of Tommy's heifers that he kept. They were stalking me and Sadie(my dog) when we were taking pictures. I was trying to get a good picture of their brands but they weren't having it. Tommy freeze branded these...which instead of burning them to where their hair wont grow, it kills the pigment in their skin so that it grows back white. You can kind of see it on the white faced girl on the right.

An old feed shed on our place. I have always told Tommy that it would make great pictures and he just laughed at me. Well, well, well...look who was right! ;-)

I just thought this was a really cool picture. I love the sun flare and the cow just happened to be looking through the window. I like this one a lot!

Look what I can do!!

This has to be one of the cutest things I have ever seen Tanner do. He discovered how to blow a whistle while playing the other day. I was in the kitchen fixing supper and heard a little whistle from around the corner. Once he figured out what the noise was, he did it again. He got so tickled everytime he blew it. I didn't want to go get the video camera because I figured he would get up. I decided to get my point and shoot camera and video him before I missed it. I don't know how many times I have watched him and just laughed because he is so dang cute!

Catching up...

We were able to go home to my parents house for Easter and really enjoyed the weekend there. We spent a lot of time with the family, celbrated Kim's birthday, visited some of my old friends, went to church, and "hunted" eggs. Tanner wasnt really into it...below is a picture of his one and only egg. He was determined to get the thing opened...how he knew it had something in it, I have NO clue. He grabbed a red jelly bean as it was falling out, stuck it in his mouth, and that was it...he was done. My camera battery died before I could get a picture of his red face.

He was done! He scaled the "wall" himself!

Best picture I could get of the boys...They were not cooperating. Tanner was TIRED and HUNGRY...Not a good combination!!!

Between meltdowns!
I love being able to go home and visit. I wish we could do it more often!
